Electric cars like the Nissan Leaf, Telsa, and Chevy Volt are growing in popularity and the numbers on the street are increasing daily. Soon the Ford Focus Electric and the Toyota Prius Plugin will swell the numbers of electric vehicles on the roads. Electric car owners will prefer to visit locations that provide recharging capability. The easiest way to add that capability is with the new SunStation from Princeton Satellite Systems.

SunStation is the first 100% green charging station for electric vehicles. All power for recharging comes from the sun! With its built-in battery it can charge EVs 24 hours a day. The SunStation provides 240 V AC power and can fully recharge a Nissan Leaf in 8 hours, a Chevy Volt in 4 and a Toyota Prius Plugin Hybrid in 1.5. The high-efficiency solar panels produce the maximum power with the minimum footprint. The station can charge up to two EVs simultaneously.
The SunStation is easy to install. Our installer will pour a concrete base at any convenient location on your property. They will then bolt in the station. You turn the key and it is ready to go. The station wirelessly connects with our payment network. Princeton Satellite System monitors the station 24/7 through a cellular phone connection.

Federal and State Tax Credits may apply to the purchase of your SunStation. Renewable Energy Credits may also apply.
SunStations will be available in early 2012. Make sure that you are an EV owner's destination! To get more information about SunStation, fill in the information form.
