The Spacecraft Control Toolbox is the product of more than twenty years of design experience including Indostar/Cakrawarta-1, TDRS, Mars Observer, GGS Polar, Inmarsat 3 and GPS. Princeton Satellite Systems has used it for the past two decades to support various major government and corporate contracts. The Academic Edition puts this experience into the hands of professors and their students for understanding attitude control design issues.
The Academic Edition of the toolbox contains much of the Spacecraft Control Toolbox professional software including the CAD tools, attitude dynamics and control design functions, orbit mechanics, and the CubeSat module. The product includes extensive PDF documentation, including our textbook on spacecraft attitude and orbit control system design and the User’s Guide. Academic Edition licenses are sold only to university faculty for use in their courses or to graduate students for their research projects. A university ID and email address is required. Groups designing actual satellites and commercial users should purchase the Professional Edition. The software will be made available via download and may be installed in a computer lab for use by up to 20 students. The license is perpetual and includes one year of email technical support.
