The VAWT simulation is part of the Wind Turbine Control Toolbox. It is a complete end-to-end simulation including blade models (with variable camber and pitch) permanent magnet generator models, rectifier model, inverter model and grid model. A block diagram is shown below.
The simulation runs in Matlab.
