VisualCommander

Visualize complex data.

Interface with hardware or simulations.

Control your systems in a revolutionary way.

New!

Download the free 30-day trial demo (51 MB). It includes a built-in demonstration of a 3-spacecraft formation flying simulation that runs in Matlab/Simulink (Intel-based Macs only). The Matlab session connects to VisualCommander as a data source, enabling the simulation to be controlled and visualized directly from VisualCommander.

Overview

VisualCommander is a revolutionary new application for Mac OS X Leopard for data acquisition, hardware control, simulation and visualization. It provides a flexible, open environment that allows you to integrate all of your software tools and heritage code into a consistent easy-to-use environment.

The screenshots shown above are taken from 2 different example applications: an Aircraft Control Simulation, and an Underwater Glider Simulation. In each case, VisualCommander uses a powerful, built-in simulation engine to simulate the dynamic system. The simulation generates telemetry that is displayed in the visual interface using a variety of "display plugins".

The key idea is flexibility. The "display plugins" can be dragged onto your interface window and customized to suit your application. New simulations can be developed and run within VisualCommander, or they can run externally. Data can come from anywhere. VisualCommander provides you with the ability to integrate multiple systems into a single interface, and allows you the freedom to design that interface however you like.
